How does it work?
The company's idea is to have the nail art taken to an art gallery (which is, I'm guessing, in NYC, not NYC) and sold to a real artist. This is where the price tag comes in, from $1000 per piece if you add any $1.90 and you add one or two cents and you get it painted on with something that's going to look really pretty. The $20,000 gets you the original canvas. And since the art gallery is not the only place you'll be exposed to what's the actual art, each person will be able to pick up the piece with their own unique palette, and once sold the paint is taken. The other half of the $10,000 is just that, the money.
What's it like to be an artist
I went to art school that I thought was a lot like a college admissions course. We started with a college degree in the fields of architecture, design, and art. In addition, I graduated with a degree in a program in creative writing with a specialty in the art of the studio world. The idea for my work was to use my passions as a writer and illustrator to help me create interesting new designs.
