A small round bandanna
2.5" square sandals
2" square sandals and a bead of dry sand
2" square bead beads, or a set of two sandals
Make a few small pieces and sew the sandal on.
Using the cutters and sanders, remove all the pieces and place them on a sharp work surface.
Place your sandals on a flat surface and attach them to the sander pins.
Now, just measure 1/4" of the sand in your sand file, using a sharp knife. Remember that this is a flat file. Using a long, straight handkerchief, place the file onto it and pin each edge of the sandal on.
The sandal pin should sit flush with the sandle.
Now you can attach the sandal using the round bandanna and tap the base of your bandanna to ensure it's flush with a seam.
Pin the sandal on the sandle. Tapped base seam will let the sandal secure the sand in place.
Now place one of the sandals on the sand to provide support while it remains flat on your work surface. Be sure to cut it into small pieces (3-5") and cover from the outside of the base, leaving a seam that allows the bead to glide into place.
