glitter nails with white tips to match them. For this tutorial I use 5 coats of cream with brown in them. You can use any combination of white powder or cotton wool and use them all day. The color combinations will vary depending on how close you are to the finish. For this tutorial I use a light grey in order to show that I'm not just making matte but they also work really well to mask the red as well. I also do this with a black liner for a quick look. These coats will protect the lipstick and apply pretty consistently.
You will use this same method for Matte Mavs and Lips. Here, you choose matte lipstick, but you could also use different colors as you wish. This guide is also available on your personal blog.
